We are a local family-owned business with a goal of serving the community’s individual health needs. We strive to bring an innovative approach to common ailments that are otherwise underdiagnosed and undertreated like hormone imbalance and obesity. Besides having the expertise in business and medicine, we have personally benefited from the therapies we offer in one way or another. Now we want to help others feel good too!

Brittany Barker Booth, DO

Dr. Barker Booth is a board-certified family doctor and non-surgical bariatrician. She currently holds board certifications in Family Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine and The American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine. She also holds an additional board certification in Obesity Medicine from the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She has been helping herself and others lose weight since 2014 and started using and prescribing bio-identical hormones in 2018.

Jeremy Booth, Business Manager

After spending nearly 22 years as an electrician and having over a decade of experience in business management in the construction industry, Jeremy Booth will now be utilizing his skills in the medical field. Always having the desire to serve others, he felt that his aspirations may best be suited in collaboration with Dr. Barker Booth (his wife). As the business and practice manager of Body by Barker, LLC, he can now contribute and expand his professional attributes to this much needed area of medicine

Danielle Reedy-Ort, PA-C

Danielle Reedy-Ort was born and raised locally and has spent the past 4 years practicing medicine in the community she loves. She is a board-certified physician assistant with a passion for cosmetics/aesthetics and extensive surgical experience. Dani started her medical career as a certified nursing assistant in 2014 and continued to advance, graduating from Lock Haven University with a Master’s degree in Health Science. She then received further training in medical and aesthetic injectables from Aesthetic Medical Educators Training and is ecstatic to bring that service line to Body by Barker. She will also collaborate with Dr. Barker Booth in treating patients for weight management and hormone replacement therapy, while bringing her own personal experience to the practice.

Rita Clayton, CRNP

Rita has dedicated over three decades of her life to the noble field of healthcare as a seasoned Nurse Practitioner. Born with an innate passion for healing and a compassionate heart, she embarked on her journey in the medical profession with an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of her patients.
Rita's passion extends beyond the clinic walls; she has volunteered her time for medical missions in underserved communities, both domestically and internationally. Her selfless service has touched the lives of many who otherwise wouldn't have had access to quality healthcare.
With over 30 years of experience under her belt, Rita continues to push the boundaries of her knowledge and skills. She stays updated on the latest advancements in healthcare, ensuring that her patients receive the best care possible. Her dedication to her profession, her patients, and the betterment of healthcare as a whole is an inspiration to all who have the privilege of knowing her. Rita is a shining example of what it means to be a compassionate, skilled, and unwavering force in the world of healthcare.

Allison Holbritter, CRNP

Allison Holbritter has worked in healthcare for more than 20 years. She grew up in the Midwest and moved to PA after college. She has worked in various settings, including the Emergency Department, insurance & hospital case management, and urgent care. Allison is married, has 3 sons and a "boxador" (boxer-labrador mix) named Heinz. When she is not at work or at home, you will likely find this boymom at various sporting events cheering on her sons. Allison is looking forward to joining you on your wellness journey!

Kelly Ferree, CRNP

Kelly has worked in the Healthcare field for over 24 years with a diverse background. After serving as an RN for 14 years with experience including trauma surgery, oncology, and pediatrics, she decided to dedicate herself to the role of a Nurse Practitioner in hopes of improving quality of life by being at the forefront of a patient’s health. She is also a certified aesthetic injector and is passionate about not only feeling healthier on the inside but enhancing the external natural beauty that shines from within. Kelly believes wellness considers the whole person, including their physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects. She hopes to provide the tools of empowerment for patients to take control of their overall health.
While at home, Kelly devotes her time to her daughter Scarlet and her corgi Dave. In the evenings, you will find her in mom mode with homework and after school activities.
Kelly is not only excited to be an integral part of the team at Body by Barker but thrilled to provide compassionate care while striving for an overall improvement in health and wellness with each and every patient.

Brett Elicker, Sales Representative

Brett Elicker is a York County local with over a decade of experience in business sales. After making a radical transformation in not just his physical but mental health, Brett was determined to find a career that would reflect his new-found passion for people living their best lives. With an invitation from family, he was happy to join the Body by Barker team and help others feel their best. Brett uses HRT along with weightlifting and boxing to maintain his optimal state of health and his desire to bring lifechanging therapy to as many people as possible.

SharNell Allen, Medical Assistant, Laser Technician

SharNell is an enthusiastic healthcare professional whose remarkable journey combines the compassion of a medical assistant with the precision of a laser technician. With 18 years of experience under her belt, she exemplifies the power of continuous learning and the ability to adapt to the evolving landscape of healthcare. SharNell’s unique skill set has allowed her to positively impact the lives of countless individuals, making her invaluable to Body by Barker and the healthcare community.

Lisa Zech-Altland, Administrative Medical Assistant

Lisa is an administrative medical assistant whose dedication to order and efficiency is matched only by her innate compassion. Her pivotal role in healthcare administration ensures that Body by Barker runs smoothly, allowing providers and nurses to focus on patient care. Lisa’s journey exemplifies the blend of organization and heart that makes her an indispensable asset to the healthcare community.

Emily Gohn, Cosmetologist, Laser Technician

Emily brings a wealth of experience as a licensed cosmetologist, with a dedicated career spanning 15 years. Her journey in caring for others has taken her on diverse paths, including a deeply fulfilling role in special education, where she’s devoted the last 9 years to the well-being of special needs children. Additionally, she’s spent the past three years providing in-home care, consistently striving to enhance the lives of those she serves.
Her unwavering commitment to helping individuals feel their best has led her to an exciting opportunity with Body by Barker, where she has recently attained certification to perform professional-grade aesthetic procedures. Emily is dedicated to continuously expanding her range of services, ensuring that she can consistently meet the needs of our valued clients and empower them to feel confident and beautiful.
