We are a local family-owned business with a goal of serving the community’s individual health needs. We strive to bring an innovative approach to common ailments that are otherwise underdiagnosed and undertreated like hormone imbalance and obesity. Besides having the expertise in business and medicine, we have personally benefited from the therapies we offer in one way or another. Now we want to help others feel good too!

Brittany Barker Booth, DO

Dr. Barker Booth is a board-certified family doctor and non-surgical bariatrician. She currently holds board certifications in Family Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine and The American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine. She also holds an additional board certification in Obesity Medicine from the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She has been helping herself and others lose weight since 2014 and started using and prescribing bio-identical hormones in 2018.

Jeremy Booth, Business Manager

After spending nearly 22 years as an electrician and having over a decade of experience in business management in the construction industry, Jeremy Booth will now be utilizing his skills in the medical field. Always having the desire to serve others, he felt that his aspirations may best be suited in collaboration with Dr. Barker Booth (his wife). As the business and practice manager of Body by Barker, LLC, he can now contribute and expand his professional attributes to this much needed area of medicine

Danielle Reedy-Ort, PA-C

Danielle Reedy-Ort, a board-certified physician assistant, has practiced medicine locally for four years. With a background in surgical care and a passion for aesthetics, she earned her Master’s in Health Science from Lock Haven University and trained in aesthetic injectables. At Body by Barker, she offers these services and collaborates with Dr. Barker Booth on weight management and hormone therapy.

Rita Clayton, CRNP

Rita, a seasoned Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience, has devoted her career to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Beyond the clinic, she has volunteered for medical missions in underserved communities, both locally and globally. Continuously advancing her knowledge, Rita stays updated on the latest in healthcare to provide exceptional care, inspiring all who have the privilege of working with her.

Allison Holbritter, CRNP

Allison Holbritter has over 20 years of healthcare experience in settings like the Emergency Department, case management, and urgent care. Originally from the Midwest, she moved to PA after college. Married with three sons and a “boxador” named Heinz, Allison enjoys cheering on her boys at sporting events. She is excited to support you on your wellness journey!

Kelly Ferree, CRNP

Kelly has over 24 years of diverse healthcare experience. After 14 years as an RN in trauma surgery, oncology, and pediatrics, she became a Nurse Practitioner to focus on improving patients’ quality of life. A certified aesthetic injector, Kelly is passionate about enhancing natural beauty and promoting whole-person wellness. At home, she enjoys time with her daughter Scarlet and corgi Dave. Kelly is excited to support your health journey!

Brett Elicker, Sales Representative

Brett Elicker, a York County local, brings over a decade of business sales experience to Body by Barker. After transforming his physical and mental health, he pursued a career reflecting his passion for helping others live their best lives. Combining HRT, weightlifting, and boxing to maintain his health, Brett is dedicated to sharing life-changing therapies to help others achieve their wellness goals.

SharNell Allen, Medical Assistant, Laser Technician

SharNell is a dedicated healthcare professional with 18 years of experience as both a medical assistant and laser technician. Her passion for learning and adaptability in the ever-evolving healthcare field have enabled her to positively impact countless lives. SharNell’s unique expertise makes her an invaluable member of the Body by Barker team and a trusted advocate for patient care and wellness.

Lisa Zech-Altland, Administrative Medical Assistant

Lisa, an administrative medical assistant, combines efficiency with compassion to ensure smooth operations at Body by Barker. Her dedication to organization allows providers and nurses to focus on patient care. Lisa’s blend of expertise and heart makes her an indispensable part of the team, embodying the values that drive exceptional healthcare.

Emily Gohn, Cosmetologist, Laser Technician

Emily, a licensed cosmetologist with 15 years of experience, spent nine years in special education working with special needs children and three years providing in-home care. Her passion for helping others led her to join Body by Barker, where she’s now certified in professional-grade aesthetic procedures. Emily is dedicated to expanding her services to empower clients to feel confident and beautiful.

Ivan, Certified Service Dog

Ivan is a long-haired chihuahua who was born in Slovakia 5 years ago, and brought to the US after failing to succeed as a show dog. While his personality wasn’t fitting for the stage, it was perfect for supporting anxious patients. He now serves the community as Body by Barker’s service animal through the United Service Dog registry, and is usually found on the laps of clients during their visit.
